I Can't believe I am really this old.
When I was born almost 36 years ago I had a babysitter, Patty O'Brien. She was in her early twenties and loved us to pieces. A few years later she had twin girls, Allison and Megan, who have been family to me my whole life. They are like the sisters I never had and ALWAYS wanted. Then, Thank god, they both found great guys to marry and have babies with... These four kids are those babies.
We had a very quick and crazy shoot in my make shift studio on one side of my bedroom. It was hilarious! It was frighting and fun all at the same time, we laughed A LOT. My favorite part was Jacob, the blondie with the tie, this picture was grabbed when he dove in front of my camera when i was shooting his sister Grace. He was like 3 inches from my lens, it was awesome.
I know i will be shooting these guys on a very regular basis, this was just us dipping our toe in the water.
Love you all.

One Bhatt. Two Bhatt Three Bhatt. Four........ Five Bhatt's!
This is the Bhatt Family (prnounced 'Bot'), we had to postpone the shoot a couple of times; I was sick, then baby Ana was sick, but we finally got our chance. They were a lot of fun. The mom, Lisa, had the bright idea to bring the big wheels for the boys to ride which was a brilliant idea, thank you Lisa. Looking forward to our second shoot next week!

It's Official; I am back in Z-ville. Well, at least part of the year.
After close to ten years of living out west, I am back. It is not that I haven't been here in ten years; there was always Thanksgivings or Christmas. The most recent was last February when my oldest brother and his wife had their first child after years of trying. Baby Padraic is now nine months old and is going to give those two a run for their money that is certain. Anyway, I have been back almost three weeks. It has taken me some time to settle into my new environment and its surroundings. Roads that I once turned down are no longer there or are now a one way, oops! What were once miles and miles of corn fields are now miles and miles of housing additions and strip malls. McKamey's Pharmacy, you know the one with the old fashion soda fountains in the back, is now a huge coffee shop. Once, I roller skated the isles in my bathing suit, don't worry I was eight. The hills I would pedal up seem seriously tiny now. I remember feeling like I was going to die riding up Pine Street from 6th street to 8th. The abandoned lumberyard I used to run quickly past so I could get to the 100 ft bridge to hangout for the afternoon, is now a couple of houses each the size of a castle. I love it that I used to hang out as a child on something called the 100 ft bridge. Back in my day (yeah I just said... 'Back in my day') they didn't even have a fence up. We would dangle our feet over the edge, man that always scared the crap out of me. It was probably a very good idea they finally put a fence up. ;)
Suffice it to say things have changed.
It is nice to be back to hang with the Fam. I have four nephews and a niece. Those poor kids aren't going to know what hit them. I am working on my Stock Photography portfolio and they are my subjects. I plan on dressing them up in fun costumes and taking them out to run around in public, should be good times.
I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends. Give me a call or shoot me an email, I would love to have a beer and chat.
I am a Photographer. I have spent the last five years of my life living my dream in Missoula, Montana teaching photography and helping turn out some of the best photographers out there. I work for an amazing photography school, Rocky Mountain School of Photography, and will be doing some travelling back to Montana and many other places throughout the country. It is a great feeling to be living my dream and doing what truly makes me happy.
I have officially moved my home base for Eileen Keenan Photography to Indiana and would love to photograph you, your family and/or your kids. Give me a call and let's go play. Go to my website and check out my style. Also you can join my blog and keep a running tab on my most recent shoots. On the right side of this blog you will see a button that says 'Follow Me' click it and join my blog.
I look forward to seeing some of you out and about. And if I don't… I hope your holiday season is Fantastic.
Take care.

If Only they weren’t so shy! ;)
This past Sunday was my first Family Session here in Z-ville. I hung out with the Butler family for a bit in good ole' Lions Park, some of my old stomp in grounds as kid. We had a ball. The mom, Danelle, went to high school with my brother David. We reminisced about the good old days. The last time I had seen them was when I baby sat for their daughter Laine who was maybe one at the time.
Oh how time does fly.
Any way, they are a lovely family of four these days and tons of fun to be around. I got some great head shots of Danelle and Bill; and as far as the girls go... If Only they weren’t so shy! ;)
Thank you Bill, Danelle, Laine and Reese for a great time, we will see each other real soon.

Where am I!
I am a little behind on my post, picking up and moving across the country makes things a tiny bit crazy. I am safely in Zionsville, IN. This is where as a child i ran the streets with chocolate on my face and my mother wondering where i was on a constant basis, i was a hard kid to keep track of.. Looking forward to being around the ole' hood for the next six months and seeing what has changed since i left 8 or 9 years ago, don't worry i will share. ;)
So back to my post...I have 7 of them to go up but i want to start with the most recent shoot since i promised i would put a teaser up and then I will post the others. Keep you eyes peeled for some good stuff.

Two of the reasons I came home!
This guys are one of the main reasons i came to spend some time in the midwest this winter. The baby is Padraic, my brother Tim's little boy. I am staying with them for a bit and get to spend lots of time with this little guy. He is HILARIOUS! I love it that i get to be here for so many of the cool things that babies do for the first time. He should be walking any day now and then we are all in T.R.O.U.B.L.E.
The other little man is Wyatt, my brother Michael's son. He is seven and ALL boy. He LOVES that i constantly have my camera in his face as you can tell. Him and I spend Tuesdays and Thursdays together after school hangin out and then we go to Tae Kwan Do. Yes, that is right, I am doing Tae Kwan DO. It is actually pretty awesome, and soon I will feel confident that if I were ever in a street fight that i could truly kick some ass. The other day, I was paired up with a five year old. He was the cutiest little boy with a mohawk and a gorgeous smile. He totally smoked me in my form, it was amazing. I was truly in awe of some of these kids. It is not all kids. it is a mixture of about 30 people ages 5 to 50, it is very awesome thing to see.
Don't worry pictures will be coming.

Lil' Miss Cora Turns One
This little girl is one of my FAVORITES to photograph! She is just one of the most beautiful babies i have ever known. I had the pleasure to be invited to her 1st birthday party. It was quite a scene, babies were everywhere and with chocolate icing all over their faces. A week or so later I had this lovely shoot with Lil' Miss Cora and her awesome mom Libby. It was a little cold, but we powered through. Here is what we came up with. Seriously, she is frickin adorable.

Old guys running.
These are from a very early morning shoot a couple of days before the end of Digital Intensive. Pat and John, my handsome models, were some of my students and were amazing about getting up early to help me out. I didn't get exactly what i was looking for, I need to keep building off of this idea but a couple of them turned out great. Thanks again guys for helping me. And Pat, I LOVE the one handed push up, you are too much!
